Publication Ethics

Egyptian Urological Association and editorial board of Egy J Urol make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information contained in the journal’ publications. The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using professional plagiarism-checking software. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index resulting from plagiarism are rejected immediately.

The corresponding author is responsible for the originality of the material. The author’s responsibility includes authorship complaints; plagiarism complaints; multiple, duplicate, concurrent publication or simultaneous submission; research results misappropriation; allegations of research errors and fraud; research standards violations; undisclosed conflicts of interest. Manuscripts reporting data obtained from research conducted on human subjects must include a statement of assurance in the Subjects/Materials and Methods section of the manuscript that informed consent was obtained from patients and that the study protocol was approved by the institution's research review committee. Manuscripts reporting experiments using animals must include a statement giving assurance that all animals received humane care and that the study protocol complies with the institution's guidelines.
